PINNACLES NEAR PERTH WA

Yay! The Pinnacles in the Nambung National Park! Aren't they cute?

Golden sand, green Bush and the deep deep deep blue Indian Ocean...

I love it, when your look reaches as far as your eyesight!

For me it looks like a praying man. An elegant face, long hair, hands in a prayer, body covered by a coat.

The walls in the distant. We could be in Jerusalem, finding our way through the desert - the holy city our destiny. (No I am normally not very religious.)

Weird, some of them just look so weird!

Beautiful. Dunno but the setting and the pic is just beautiful... ;)

This is a Madonna with baby on a rock. Her head is bowed, covered with a scarf. Her body is hugged by a coat. She looks down and in her hands lays her child. You see its little head and little hands... (Hey guy's if you see something different in it, post me!)

The desert - it does not goes on forever but it seems to.

I made the pic of the entrance sign at the end of our trip.

A baby Pinnacle broken in half's like a Easter egg. Did you know, that Pinnacles are like ice bergs underneath the go on and on and on. We only see the top of it!!!

CAVERSHAM WILD PARK

We disturbed them in the morning. We went into the cage and were allowed to stroke them. You have to use the back of you hand and not your palm, cause with the back - your fingers point away and it is less likely to poke them what the do not like. But the idiots never listen and of course everybody used their palms...

Yay! Streichelzoo-time! Aren't they cuuuuuuute?!

This little one is still sleeping. Ohhhhhhh!

Kangaroooooooooo!

Oh, isn't is a sleeping beauty? Look how elegant it arranged it's paws!

uh! Someone very curious! hihihi

Lovely isn't it?! We got food to tempt them.

It looks so vulnerable, nearly sad. A lost life?

Quiiiiiiiiitsch! It has a joey (little one) in it's pouch!

It is smelling my foot. I wanna wrap it up a take it with me as pet.

Hihihi - it is scratching it's backside. When some of them stand up they where as tall as us. Scary - a bit.

Day Trip: DISCOVER PINACLES + NAMBUNG NATIONAL PARK

Wow - up at 6 am. Get ready, made brekky, had to walk 45 min to meet-point. On Sunday? No bus or train before 9/8 am. Pick up was 7:45 am for 08:00 am departure. Of course we where delayed...
Australia - I love the flat space. The limit is the horizon. The limit is yourself.

Long straight roads. You do meet only rarely other vehicles. Ok, jes, it is Sunday. ;)

Quick Stop. Oh it is all so exciting. Finally out of the city again. Have the feeling it is swallowing me. Like a boa-constructor. Slow and painfully.

Yeah, it might seem remote, but the world is passing through.

Emu. In a cage with some fellows. Next to the station.

That's so Australia. Hmmmm, the atmosphere the details.

Australia or Schleswig-Holstein how do you tell?

It is Wildflower time in WA - here one of the first.

Have a closer look.

An assortment of my bounty from a short brisk walk. Plus mussels. We are walking on an ex-reef after all!
